1) Most indigenous people descended from the "Cañari" wear these wool hats as a tradition.

 

2) Among the people of Cuenca, the "cuencanas cholas" a group of mestizo women, is popular for its very colorful woven clothing.

 

3) You can easily distinguish the "cuencanas cholas" for their next long braids and colorful embroidered skirts and carrying.

 

4)Some sell fruits and flowers in the squares in the city center, and others are dedicated to manufacture and sell handicraft items.

5) The "cuencanas Cholas" wear white shirts, short sleeves with folded bass and neck. These shirts are decorated with detailed embroidery, pearls and sequins.

 

6)The interior is a strong color and is embroidered with many colors in the background. Above this skirt bearing the "bolsicón" which is black green, blue, or purple.
